Hundreds of people helped to find food and shelter each year
NOAH Enterprise is one of the hundreds of community organisations to which Luton Rising has contributed around £180m in total over the last 25 years. NOAH seeks to help disadvantaged members of the community, providing food, clothing and advice on accessing accommodation.
While focusing on those who are homeless, especially those who are temporary or entrenched rough sleepers, they also serve those who are marginalised, socially excluded, or have fallen into poverty.
To achieve its mission, NOAH offer Welfare Services, including food, clothing, medical and dental care, outreach support, and specific advice on securing accommodation and income support. They also facilitate connections with other specialist agencies.
In its Training Provision, NOAH operate courses that focus on imparting basic life skills and crafts that are employable, as well as preparing individuals for employment. And through their Social Enterprise initiative, they offer opportunities for their beneficiaries and others who have been long-term unemployed to gain valuable work experience and training in employable skills.
