Supporting thousands of people towards better mental health
Mind BLMK is one of the hundreds of community organisations to which Luton Rising has contributed £180m in total over the last 25 years. They are an independent charity, affiliated to Mind nationally, making a difference to the mental health and wellbeing of people in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. Working closely with a range of partners, they offer a number of activities from their wellbeing centres and local venues. Their aim is to make sure that no-one has to face a mental health problem alone.
As an affiliate to Mind nationally, this means that they meet high quality standards, but are able to work locally, to meet local needs. In the past year, 1,339 group sessions, 6,590 one to one sessions, and 22,970 hours of support were delivered.
